Join us for a weekend filled with family, fun, and fellowship. This will be our first in-person gathering since 2018 and the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. It will be a special time to reconnect with fun-filled activities for all ages in this historically significant township.
Atlantic Beach, SC is nestled between North Myrtle Beach and Myrtle Beach. It holds a rich history as one of the first oceanfront resorts developed exclusively for Black people during the segregation era, it is now the last Black-owned and governed beach municipality in the country.
The greater North Myrtle Beach area has a myriad of attractions and activities suitable for all ages and interests. From thrilling amusement parks and water parks to championship golf courses, shopping outlets, and live entertainment theaters, there is something to captivate every family member.

2024 Daniel-Jay Family Reunion
The Daniel-Jay Reunion will be held from Friday, July 19, 2024 to Sunday, July 21, 2024 in Atlantic Beach, SC. Our reunion theme is Making and Strengthening Family Connections. We’ll meet up at the vacation home of Maurice Daniel and S. Kathryn Allen at 3104 S. Ocean Blvd, Atlantic Beach, SC located directly across the street from the Atlantic Ocean. A huge covered outdoor tent will serve as the reunion hub site with access to indoor conveniences. The Saturday evening celebration will be held in the nearby Community Center.
